Norwegian salmon prices increased slightly this week, in part because of reduced supply resulting from holiday celebrations that curtailed processing operations at companies.
Much of Norway was on break for the latter half of this week to celebrate Constitution Day on May 17.
"There is a bit of appetite in the market after the short week. The price is being raised a little, but will probably fall significantly next week, which is a full processing week, an exporter told IntraFish.
