Norwegian salmon market sources expect prices for fish delivered next week to move higher.
Views among those in the market varied as widely as prices between the separate weight classes, although there is general agreement that airfreighted fish for export are attracting higher than normal prices.
"The market for airfreighted fish is good. But that's it. The rest of the market is nothing special," one exporter said.
