Norwegian salmon prices have moved slightly higher this week after two consecutive weeks of falling numbers in a slower summer market.
Sourced canvassed Friday put prices for the main market sized 4-5 kg fish at between NOK 54-58 (€5.18-€6.56/$6.12-$6.57), and 3-4 kg fish at between NOK 52-56 (€4.99-€5.37/$5.89-$6.34)
One exporter told IntraFish prices for 3-5 kilo fish were up roughly NOK 2-3 (€0.19-€0.29/$0.22-$0.34) over last week.
Prices for fish weighing over 6 kilos, which typically head by air to Asian markets, were more difficult to pin down as of Friday afternoon.
