Norwegian salmon prices fell 8.22 percent in week 26 compared with the week prior, to an average NOK 55.61 (€5.80/$6.50) per kilo.
But prices are still 1.41 percent above prices seen four weeks ago.
The most traded weight during the week was 4-5 kilos, which sold at an average price of NOK 56.85 (€5.90/$6.60) per kilo. Salmon weighing between 3 and 4 kilos was also highly traded, at an average price of NOK 54.22 (€5.60/$6.30) per kilo.
Larger salmon of between 5 and 6 kilos sold for an average price of NOK 58.69
