Norwegian farmed salmon prices slightly recovered in week 32, increasing 5 percent to NOK 52.23 (€5.22/$5.84) on average per kilogram, according to the latest figures from Nasdaq.

Prices were down 19.25 percent per kilo on average compared with a month ago. The drop was similar compared to three months ago at around 19.9 percent.

Prices in all major weight classes were also slightly flat.

The most popular size during the week was 4 to 5 kilograms -- accounting for 31 percent of the market share -- selling at an average price of NOK 51.97 (€5.20/$5.80) per kilo, a NOK 2.52 (€0.25/$0.28) jump from last week’s prices.

The second most popular size was 3 to 4 kilograms, accounting for 29.7 percent of the total market and traded at NOK 47.65 (€4.80/$5.40) up NOK 1.46 (€0.15/$0.16) from the week prior.
