The average price of Norwegian farmed salmon jumped about 10 percent in week 23 to NOK 60.09 (€6.20/$7.00) per kilo, according to latest Nasdaq figures.
Compared to the same period last month, prices are up 1.6 percent but down 16.24 percent from three months ago.
Prices rose among the most popular weight classes over the past week.
Prices for 4-5 kilo sized fish, which hold the largest market share – 26.51 percent – increased by NOK 4.42
