The average price of Norwegian farmed salmon increased to NOK 62.36 (€6.50/$7.30) per kilo in week 28, under 7 percent increase from the week before.
Compared with a month ago, prices were down more than 11 percent, and they were down nearly 14 percent compared with three months ago, according to Nasdaq.
Price gains were seen for all weight classes.
Fish in the 4-5 kilo weight class, the most popular category with a nearly 31 percent market share, saw average prices at NOK 63.31
