Buyers of Norwegian salmon held back on orders on Friday in anticipation that prices may follow the general downward trend seen in recent weeks.
"It spreads in all directions, but this has been the case for a long time. It is a situation where customers want lower prices, and it is quite difficult to get," said one producer.
He noted the availability of smaller 5 kilogram and larger fish.
