Norwegian salmon prices are set to bounce back after two weeks of steep drops, although the market is still quiet.
“There is some pressure on the small fish, but generally it is a good move upwards,” an exporter told IntraFish.
Demand is good for fish over five kilos, the exporter said.
Other exporters report that they are "sitting on the fence" for the time being.
“There are many different prices out there, or rather price expectations. It remains to be seen where prices end,” another exporter said.
