Prices of white shrimp from Thailand increased in the week ending May 12, although in general, shrimp prices followed by IntraFish remained stable at the New York frozen auction.
Thai white tail-on shrimp was sold at $5.15 (€4.7) for sizes 31/35, remaining flat week on week, but sizes 36/40 were sold at $4.95 (€4.5) per pound, $0.20 (€0.18) above prices seen a week earlier.
Ecuador shrimp prices in the New York frozen auction remained stable during the week.
