Norwegian salmon prices are expected to be slightly higher this week as buyers and sellers wrestle with strong demand and persistent logistics issues.
Market sources offered differing views of salmon prices on Friday, but most projected a rise.
One producer noted higher prices and pressure on the market from new buyers jumping in.
"I'm seeing positive signs. We'll raise prices a couple of kroner at least," the producer told IntraFish, adding that his company is constantly being contacted by new prospective buyers.
