Prices for Chilean salmon headed into the United States continued their climb in week 33, along with prices of salmon headed to Brazil and China, according to figures from DataSalmon.

The average wholesale price for D trim Atlantic salmon shipped from Chile into the United States was $4.97 (€4.47) per pound, up $0.02 (€0.02) on the week prior.

The wholesale price for head-on size 10-12 salmon going into the Brazilian increased by $0.01 (€0.01) per kilo, to an average $6.00 (€5.40) per kilo.

Prices for salmon headed to China saw the most significant increase at $0.11 (€0.10) per kilo, to an average of $9.83 (€8.85).
