Chilean salmon prices to the US market remained relatively flat into the US market in week 47, according to market analyst firm DataSalmon. Average prices rose slightly to reach $5.13 (€4.50) per pound.

Average prices are well below 2016 levels, but tracking roughly 10 percent higher than the same week last year.

The DataSalmon Index is a weekly average price weight by volume for Fresh D Trim Fillets FOB Miami (D-trim fillets represent around 70% of the supply of fresh fillets from Chile to the US market).
