Farmed Norwegian salmon are having a "blood red" week as prices tumble compared to the week prior, sources told IntraFish.

"There is too much volume in relation to demand," an exporter told IntraFish, citing the reason may or may not be related to COVID-19.

The exporter reported the following prices:

  • 2-3 kilograms: NOK 35 (€3.30/$3.70) per kilogram
  • 3-4 kilograms: NOK 45 (€4.20/$4.80)
