Farmed Norwegian salmon are having another bad week as summer holidays take a toll on the market, sources told IntraFish.

"The price is always bad when I am on holiday and I take the holiday in the summer," an exporter said.

"Bad summer prices are nothing new and I can still assure you that no farmers will be starving this year."

Pressure on prices are also a result of some unsold leftover fish from the week prior coupled with depressed demand, another exporter told IntraFish.
