Norwegian salmon prices going down into the next week as farmers have harvested volumes ahead of time to avoid the impact of the algal bloom, traders told IntraFish.
“We expect prices in the mid NOK 50 (€5.1/$5.7),” an exporter said.
Several players are talking about a difficult market, with long waits and great uncertainty.
"It's hard to be concrete on price next week since we haven't traded anything yet," another exporter said.
According to him, prices should be around NOK 5 (€0.51/$0.57)
