Norwegian farmed salmon prices are once again on the increase as the hotel, restaurant and catering (HORECA) markets across Europe begin to open up and demand is strong.

This is the third week in row prices increased.

“It is very fun to be a farmer at the moment,” an executive with one salmon farming company told IntraFish. “The market is vibrant at the moment, and demand is increasing."

The executive said there is a particularly strong demand from the HORECA market, and noted record sales to Italy, among other countries.
