The judge in charge of investigating the alleged "scam"surrounding Pescanova is pushing the hearing back likely into next year, reports La Voz De Galicia.

The move would allow for further investigation.

Last June, the judge declared "complex causes" in the Pescanova case, a legal instrument that allows him to extend the investigation, and that De la Mata based on the complexity of a process that "involves a lot of investigation and numerous offenses ".

The main investigation is into Manuel Fernandez de Sousa, the former president of Pescanova.
