The owners of Young’s Seafood, Sofina Europe, announced on Thursday the appointment of Einar Olgeirsson as the group's new head of packaging development.
Olgeirsson started with Young’s Seafood 18 years ago in a temporary administrative support role, eventually becoming an assistant packaging technologist and working his way up through the company.
His new role will be to lead packaging development, with an emphasis on progressing the company's sustainability agenda through waste reduction across all Sofina UK sites.
