The worker who died at a Mowi Scotland sea farm in Skye last month following a workplace incident was Assistant Manager Clive Hendry.

The accident, which occurred Feb. 18, happened while Hendry was disembarking the work boat Beinn Na Caillich, according to the UK Marine Accident Investigation Branch.

"All of us, and especially his closest colleagues at Mowi Scotland, are devastated by the loss of Clive Hendry who died as a result of an accident at his workplace last month," read Mowi Scotland's internal newsletter.

"Clive had been our colleague for 12 years and was a truly valued member of the team, and friend."

The company is continuing to assist police, the UK Health & Safety Executive and the Maritime and Coastguard Agency in investigating the incident.

Mowi operates 49 sea farm sites in the Western Highlands and Scottish Isles, where it produces around 40,000 metric tons of salmon.
