A worker at a processing factory operated by salmon farming giant Mowi died Tuesday, according to Norwegian paper Hitra-Froya.

The worker, contracted by recruitment agency Din Bemanningspartner to work at the facility, collapsed at the Ulvoya-based plant while preparing for his shift. Efforts to resuscitate him were unsuccessful.

Factory manager Olaf Reppe said the worker had been at the facility for six months.
