The Walton Family Foundation has named Moira Mcdonald as its new director for its environment program, which includes several seafood initiatives.

Before taking on the role, Mcdonald worked as the senior program officer of freshwater conversation at the foundation and has more than 20 years of experience in wetlands and freshwater conservation. She is a former senior advisor at the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation.

“Moira is a trusted and sought after expert inside the foundation and across the field,” said Caryl Stern, executive director of the Walton Family Foundation.
