US land-based salmon producer Whole Oceans named long-time consultant Michael Thompson as senior project coordinator for its facility at the former Verso Paper Mill site in Bucksport, Maine.
Thompson will be responsible for leading Whole Ocean's on-site project work, as well as developing relationships with stakeholders, including partners, regulatory agencies and the town of Bucksport.
Thompson has a 33-year long career in consulting for firms in the Northeast, most recently owning a 75-person environmental consulting firm in Maine.
