Elizabeth Lyn Vargas' divorce from former American Seafoods CEO Bernt Bodal has a storyline in the American reality TV series Real Housewives of Orange County.

The two divorced in 2017, Vargas posted on her social media account, but it was not finalized until July 2020. Vargas has made other allusions to Bodal and their divorce on her social media postings.

The show premiered earlier this month, according to the TV network Bravo, where fans will also see Vargas navigate her job as the CEO of online music company, Edge Music.

The Real Housewives series is in its 15th season, but still drew around 1.4 million viewers last year. The show focuses on the personal and professional lives of several women residing in Orange County, California.

Bodal retired from American Seafoods in 2018, after leading the company through an era that included the formation of fishing cooperatives in both the US Pacific hake and Alaska pollock fisheries

It's not the first time Bodal has appeared on the big screen. In 2012, the American Seafoods' CEO went in disguise on a Bering Sea vessel on an episode of the show Undercover Boss.
