Corey Norton, who served as legal counsel for Thai Union in Washington, DC for two years, has joined the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) as its vice president of supply chain legality. Norton previously served as group counsel for responsible sourcing with Thai Union.

Norton, who posted on LinkedIn that he joined WWF in April, did not provide details about the specific role, but said he will be continuing the "types of work" conducted with Thai Union but on a broader scale.

At Thai Union he focused on supply chains legal compliance in the areas of forced labor, illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing and international trade.

For Thai Union, Norton protected the ability to sell into key markets and fulfill requirements of customers, NGOs and other partners.

He also helped lead Thai Union’s global risk management function with accountability to the company's board of directors.
