Norwegian closed-containment salmon farming specialist AkvaFuture has appointed Sparebank 1 salmon market analyst Thomas Myrholt as its chief financial officer.
Myrholt has covered seafood and real estate for Sparebank 1 over the past two years.
In 2018, AkvaFuture unveiled plans to double production across three different locations in Northern Norway to reach 6,000 metric tons this year.
Technology used by AkvaFuture is a completely contained salmon sea cage developed by parent AkvaDesign for the full prevention of sea lice.
