Land-based salmon farmer Salmon Evolution is moving forward with plans for its South Korean operation, and is actively recruiting for an executive to head up its Asian operations.
One of the world's largest seafood companies, South Korea's Dongwon, invested NOK 50 million ($5.5 million/€4.7 million) in the operation in mid-2020, with plans to produce 20,000 metric tons of land-based salmon over the next four to six years.
