Knut Roflo has been named the new CEO of AquaGen Europe. He will join the Norwegian salmon egg supplier in his new role on Nov. 1.
He is currently the CEO of Felleskjopet Forutvikling , a Norway-based R&D firm serving farmers. He is also chairman of the board of the Foods of Norway project. He has worked at Norwegian salmon farmer Cermaq and Cargill-owned feed company Ewos in the past.
"We have been through an extensive process to find the right leader of AquaGen," said AquaGen Chairman Odd Magne Rodseth. "Knut has a solid management experience and competence, and in addition he is a visionary, committed and future-oriented leader who will contribute to our success with our ambitions, both in Norway and abroad."
