Norwegian landbased salmon company Pure Salmon Kaldnes has appointed Synnove Helland as global head of quality, health, safety and environment (HSE).
Prior to this appointment, she worked for Nofina, Norway's leading aquaculture research center, for 19 years. Most recently, Helland was Nofina's director for sustainable aquaculture, according to her LinkedIn post.
In 2021, the aquaculture division of Kruger Kaldnes was acquired by 8F Asset Management. It was subsequently merged with Norwegian Pure Salmon and named Pure Salmon Kaldnes.
