German seafood processing equipment manufacturer Baader has hired Sigsteinn Gretarsson as CEO for Skaginn 3X and Baader Island in Iceland.
Based in Reykjavik, Gretarsson joins newly appointed Chief Sales Officer (CSO) Jon Birgir Gunnarsson.
He has worked in a number of management positions, including 19 years at competitor Marel. He joins after six years as CEO at Arctic Green Energy Corporation.
“Sigsteinn Gretarsson completes our local management team in Iceland”, said Robert Focke, managing director at Baader Fish.
"This is a crucial appointment for us, and I am pleased that we have been able to attract such a high-caliber executive."
