Royal Greenland's outgoing CEO Mikael Thinghuus is joining the board of directors of a Danish trading company to help "lift it to the next level in the seafood market."

Thinghuus announced in January he is stepping down from his role as CEO of Royal Greenland after 11 years at the helm.

He will join the board of frozen fish and food specialist Nowaco on Sept. 1.

In addition Nowaco has also appointed Per Sorensen and Peter Rasmussen who will both hold the position of COO alongside Tom Leth Jensen.
