Spanish fisheries and processing giant Nueva Pescanova has appointed Jorge Escudero Hurtado as its new CEO.
He joins the multinational to "lead and enhance the growth of the company and increase its profitability," the company said in a statement Friday.
Escudero has extensive management experience, especially in the international arena, in companies such as Coca-Cola, Campofrío, Leche Pascual and Deoleo.
He will take up his role at Nueva Pescanova on Sept. 7.
"[Escudero] has deep knowledge and experience in international markets, including Europe, Asia and Latin America, which provides him with a very valuable global perspective to strengthen Nueva Pescanova's growth strategy," the company said.
