Ignacio Gonzalez, CEO of Spanish fisheries and processing multinational Nueva Pescanova, is stepping down from the helm of the company on June 16 after 7½ years in the position, the company announced Tuesday.
Jose Maria Benavent, executive president and chairman of the group, will assume his duties.
Nueva Pescanova said the decision is due to reasons of a personal nature and was made by mutual agreement.
