The Norwegian Seafood Council (NSC) appointed Victoria Braathen as its new envoy to the United Kingdom. She will take up her post in London this summer.
Prior to joining the UK division, Braathen was director of the NSC in China until July 2021, when she returned to Norway to be head of market access for the association. She has been with the NSC for nearly six years.
Braathen also has previous experience as a political adviser in the Ministry of Trade and Fisheries and the Tromso Municipality. She will take up her post in London in the summer.
Additionally, the NSC appointed Trond Rismo as its new envoy to Portugal -- an important market for Norwegian clipfish and salted fish -- replacing Johnny Thomassen.
Rismo has also held various positions in the NSC since 2016.
