The Norwegian Seafood Council (NSC) has named Borge Gronbech as its new interim CEO. He will take over on May 1.

He will replace Renate Larsen, who announced she was stepping down in February, after six years in the role.

"We are very pleased that Borge has agreed to be appointed CEO of the Seafood Council," said Marianne Johnsen, chair of the NSC board.

"This means that we get a safe and good leader of the company until a new boss is in place," she said.
