Norwegian halibut farmer Nordic Halibut has appointed Kenneth Meyer as its new chief financial officer, effective Oct. 1.

Meyer succeeds Odd Weidel who has been interim CFO since January 2021. Weidal will continue to support the company as an independent advisor.

Meyer was previously group business controller at the company. He holds a MSc in economics and administration, with specialization in financial analysis from Molde University College.

He also previously worked as a seafood analyst for data and analysis firm Kontali Analyse.
