Nomad Foods-owned frozen seafood brand Birds Eye has appointed Shaun Smith as its new general manager for the UK and Ireland.
In a LinkedIn post, Smith said he was "absolutely delighted" to be starting in the new role after nearly five years working for the company.
He has been sales director at the company since July 2019. Prior to joining Birds Eye, Smith spent more than 10 years with Aunt Bessie's, a frozen food brand acquired by Nomad in 2018.
