The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) in Norway named Karoline Andaur CEO and secretary general of the organization after a decade with the group.

Andaur had been acting as interim WWF CEO for the past six months. She worked her way to the position from being an advisor, to head of sea work and then deputy leader.

Andaur has been one of the NGO's most active participants in the Norwegian salmon farming sector, pushing for reforms and taking a leadership role in the formation of the Global Salmon Initiative (GSI).
