The Newfoundland and Labrador Aquaculture Industry Association (NAIA) hired Jamie Baker as its new executive director.
Baker has held leadership positions in communications and the news media.
The NAIA represents the interests of seafood farmers and their suppliers in Canada's Newfoundland and Labrador.
In November former executive director Mark Lane left the role to join a startup philanthropic organization in the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador.
