American Seafoods Chief Sustainability Officer Tim Fitzgerald certainly dresses the part when you see him riding his electric Rad Power Bike over Seattle's Magnolia bridge into the tan industrial warehouses lined with rusty boat parts and piles of old fishing nets that make up Seattle's Pier 91.

"You can't put them in a landfill. Dutch Harbor won't even take them," he explained as he and other volunteers from the company carved away at what seemed like miles of various entwined rope to separate out the various plastics and make the material fit for reuse by another manufacturer.
