Robert Kultoniak has been appointed as new Product Life Cycle Director for Mowi Central Europe.

Kultoniak has been with Mowi since 2005 as commercial director at Morpol, Mowi's giant salmon processing acquisition in Poland. In his new role he will be responsible for managing all activities within Mowi's product life cycle.

In December 2012 Mowi -- then operating under the name Marine Harvest -- entered into a share purchase agreement that effectively gave it a 48.5 percent shareholding in Morpol, then owned by CEO Jerzy Malek, through two investment companies.

The deal cost the company NOK 937.6 million (€94.7 million/$103.1 million).
