Mowi, the world's largest salmon farmer, said Wednesday it plans on laying off 10 percent of its staff as part of its cost reduction strategy first announced in August.
Last fall, Mowi CEO Ivan Vindheim hinted strongly at the staff reductions, saying it would move forward if the company failed to grow.
