Mediterranean bass and bream powerhouse Avramar named one of the primary architects of the merged group as its new CEO.
Thor Talseth, who currently serves as chairman of the group, will take over as the new top executive at the group on May 1, he told IntraFish.
Talseth, currently founding partner at asset manager Neptune NRCP, has been involved with the whitefish producer since his role as head of private equity at Avramar's owner Amerra Capital Management.
Amerra established a platform for Avramar with the acquisition of Greek producer Andromeda in 2016, followed by an agreement to acquire Selonda and Nireus two years later from receivership.
