Leroy Seafood, one of Norway's largest salmon farmers, named Harald Larssen as the CEO for Leroy's Midt operations.

Larssen takes over from Sven Amund Fjeldvaer, who has been in the position since 2007. Fjeldvaer decided to become a project manager with the company.

Larssen was previously a production manager for Leroy Midt for more than nine years.

The company also named Bjarne Reinert its new executive vice president for aquaculture with the company.

Reinert takes over the position from Stig Nilsen, who has been been with Leroy since 2005, first as Leroy Aurora CEO and then as executive vice president of aquaculture.

Nilsen will be filling a newly created position as a government liaison for Leroy focusing on both fisheries and aquaculture. He will also be part of key development projects within the aquaculture business.

Reinert was formerly head of fish health at Leroy. He was first hired as a fish health manager at Sjotroll Havbruk in 2009.
