Former Bumble Bee CEO Chris Lischewski has seen his bid for a reduced sentence thrown out of court in California.

After a jury trial, Lischewski was found guilty of conspiring to fix prices of canned tuna in June, and the court sentenced him to a 40-month term of imprisonment and fined him $100,000 (€85,069).

He entered a federal prison in Tucson, Arizona, in August.
