Indian supply chain platform Captain Fresh has hired a senior commercial director for the EU as part of its latest move to expand its presence in the market.
Luz Benitez Povedano joins Captain Fresh from online delivery service Just Eat Takeaway where she was senior regional sales manager for northwest Europe, with past experience at France Telecom and Groupon.
The hire comes two months after Captain Fresh brought ex-Amazon executive Basola Valles onboard as its Europe CEO, to further expand the company's buying base beyond India.
