The CEO of one of Alaska's largest whitefish producers has abruptly departed the company after serving in the position just over one year, sources told IntraFish.

Amy Humphreys, president and CEO of Bristol Bay Seafood Investments (BBSI), was hired in January 2020 by the Bristol Bay Native Corporation (BBNC) to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight to BBSI and its subsidiary Bristol Bay Alaska Seafoods, the company resulting from the merger of Alaska whitefish producers Blue North and Clipper Seafoods under BBNC.
