The head of Hendrix Genetics' aquaculture operations will step down from his role after seven years leading the group.

Neil Manchester, who has served as managing director for the group's aquaculture business unit since 2015, said his decision was motivated in part by re-evaluation of his career priorities during the past year's COVID lockdowns.

During his tenure, Manchester oversaw the acquisition of Washington State breeding group Troutlodge and shrimp breeding group Kona Bay, as well as expansions for the group into Chile, Ecuador and Indonesia.
