Sirine Fodstad has resigned as a Grieg Seafood board member effective Aug. 13.
The salmon producer said the resignation will not affect the board’s capacity to act.
Before joining Grieg in 2019, Fodstad was global HR director at Norges Bank Investment Management.
Prior to that she carried out a similar role at Centrica Energy Norway.
The company's Newfoundland division on Tuesday said it will cull one million fish and postpone the first transfer of fish to sea until Spring 2022 after finding a positive sample of infectious salmon anemia (ISA) at its smolt site.
