Eric Pedersen, a veteran of the Mexican aquaculture industry and one of the co-founders of striped bass farm Pacifico Aquaculture has died.
In a LinkedIn post, Pacifico said its colleagues would always remember and hold dear the legacy Pedersen leaves as a pioneer in the development of the aquaculture industry in Mexico.
Most recently production manager at La Paz-based Earth Ocean Farms, producing totoaba and Pacific snapper in submerged cages, Pedersen was at the forefront of marine aquaculture development in the country.
